Kaiser health group

I’m a freelancer entrepreneur in Los Angeles with no health insurance coverage! And I am constantly in search of affordable health care! Being overwhelmed by the scope of information, and misinformation, out there about health insurance, I was thrilled to come across the blog toddshealthinsurance.com.

On Todd’s Health Care website is a link for California Residents to receive a FREE ONLINE QUOTE. Todd makes himself available for phone consultations and advice. If you live in the Southern California, Los Angeles Region you can call him at (323) 464-TODD (8633) or write to him at toddshealthinsurance@gmail.com.

Health insurance premiums in California and nationwide, rise primarily due to four major reasons:
1. Advances in medical technology means higher claims costs.
2. Price inflation for medical services is greater and exceeds inflation in other sectors of the economy.
3. Health Insurance Costs shift from the uninsured and those receiving Medicare and Medicaid over to the private sector
4. Consumer lifestyles, such as smoking, physical inactivity, obesity and heart disease.

If you live in California in the Los Angeles region, don't hesitate to contact me to review your current plan. We can make sure you're in the most cost effective health plan that meets your needs. If you're currently uninsured, it can be a lot less expensive and more affordable than you think! I've worked with students and freelancers in Los Angeles who sometimes end up paying less than $100/month! (Especially if you're willing to consider a higher deductible.)
You may even be eligible for an HSA (Health Savings Account) which offers some great tax benefits if you're self-employed and want to open an additional IRA.

The bill gives tax credits to low- and middle-class individuals and families to help offset the expense of purchasing health insurance. It also expands Medicaid. Its greatest strength, however, lies in its design to restructure the privatized insurance system, which currently allows for insurance companies to deny coverage for, or based on, pre-existing conditions, raise rates arbitrarily, and cancel policies altogether when injury or disease prove to be costly to treat.

One of the bills weaknesses is the requirement that employers who don’t, or can’t, offer a health insurance package to employees cover the additional costs for the government-subsidized coverage employees may qualify for. Another weakness, according to Ryan Grim at the Huffington Post: “The package, coming in at under $900 billion over 10 years, is the least generous in terms of subsidies for working- and middle-class Americans to purchase health insurance, and it does not include a national public health insurance option.”
